Altefeld’s Angus Cattle |
||
Since Altefeld was first established, a herd of cattle has been seen as essential to maintain the ideal balance in our pastures. We strive to supply our animals with fresh grass all year, and the cattle consume grasses which horses prefer to avoid. Pastures can therefore be enjoyed alternately by horses, and cattle. In 1961 Angus cattle were introduced to Altefeld, since this sought-after breed is easier to care for than the conventional cattle found in Germany. |
